Some of our favorite ways to enjoy Mitera Granola

Spread low fat peanut butter on a whole wheat tortilla and then sprinkle some Apple Pie granola on it.  Roll it up and take off!  It’s a perfect healthy snack when you’re dashing out the door.

Orange Roasted granola is delicious with strawberry or strawberry banana yogurt.  The flavors mix together to make a really yummy afternoon treat.

Fill a coffee cup about half way with Almond Cherry granola.  Add milk so it almost reaches the top of the granola (add more or less milk depending on how moist you like your oatmeal).  Let it sit for about a minute and stir, then put it in the microwave for one to two minutes.  Let it sit for another minute or two and enjoy delicious warm oatmeal.

The Almond Cherry is also great on ice cream – French vanilla is always a favorite.

Mix Almond Cherry with a little melted butter to form a “crumble” mixture.  Press half into the bottom of a square baking dish.  Spread cherry pie filling over this and then sprinkle more of the crumble mixture on top of the filling.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minute (until browned).  Top with whipped cream or your favorite ice cream.  This can also be made using Mitera’s Apple Pie flavor and apple pie filling.  Great warm or cold!

Here’s a hint for Moms… the resealable bags make for a perfect way to feed the kids when you’re on the go.  Tear the bag open and add milk right to it.  Give your kids a spoon and voila!  You have breakfast to go.  It's perfect in the car because when it’s all gone you can reseal the bag and there are no messy leaks.

Our absolute favorite way to enjoy Mitera Granola… Right out of the bag!  When the two o’clock munchies hit at the office the empty calories from a vending machine candy bar can make you drag for the rest of the afternoon.  Mitera is a perfect healthy pick me when you need it most!
